Dr. Ann Marie Nguyen
Dr. Ann Marie Nguyen is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and Acupuncturist. She graduated from UCLA with a Bachelors in Psychobiology, then attended Bastyr University where she was one of seven doctoral candidates to receive a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, a masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and a certificate in Chinese Herbal Medicine.
Dr. Nguyen has over 10 years experience working with individuals battling hormonal imbalance (PMS, postpartum, adrenal dysfunction, thyroid dysfunction), digestive dysfunction (IBS, gas and bloating, bowel irregularity), infectious disease, skin conditions, among many other imbalances and disease states.
She trained through American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (a4m), Institute for Functional Medicine (ifm), Dr. Tan’s Balance Method, Dr. Tung’s Acupuncture, and American College for Advancement in Medicine.
She is an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and is on the Board of Directors for California Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
She has worked around the globe, from nonprofit organizations in Kenya, to Traditional Chinese Medicine hospitals in Shanghai. More locally, she has worked at UCLA East West Medical Center, UCI Samueli Integrative Health Institute, as well as multiple community clinics in Seattle. When not practicing, she is spending quality time with family and friends, exploring the world, eating something delicious, playing volleyball or tennis, or stand up paddling.
